INTENSIVE 1:1 WIG COLOURING CLASS

Learn Colouring. The Colour Plug Way.

This intensive 1:1 colouring masterclass is designed for hair professionals and wig colourists who already have a foundation in colouring and are ready to elevate their skills, refine their technique and develop greater confidence when colouring wigs.

This is a full day of hands-on, personalised training, where you’ll work closely with me throughout the day. I’ll guide you through my colouring techniques, formulas and processes, allowing you to understand not only how to achieve the result, but why each step is important.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

Preparation & Set-Up

• How to correctly prepare your tools, products and equipment for wig colouring.
• How to assess your hair before beginning the colouring process.
• Understanding the importance of starting level, porosity and previous processing.

Colouring Techniques

• How to apply The Colour Plug colouring techniques using bleaching methods, including:
  • Balayage
  • Highlights
  • Airtouch

Formulation & Colour Theory

• How to accurately measure and mix colour formulas.
• How to create different shades and understand how formulas work together.
• How to determine the correct level of lift required before depositing or toning.
• Understanding when and how to tone to achieve your desired result.
• How to adapt your formula depending on the starting level and condition of the hair.

YOUR TRAINING DAY

The class starts at 10:00am and usually finishes around 6:00pm, depending on your individual pace and the technique being completed.

As this is a 1:1 intensive class, you’ll receive my full attention throughout the day, with the opportunity to ask questions, troubleshoot and receive personalised guidance.

CHOOSING YOUR TRAINING OPTION

£1,500 — One-Wig Training

Work on one wig throughout the day while learning the technique, with the opportunity to film your process and create content.

£1,800 — Two-Wig Training

The ultimate hands-on option.

I will demonstrate the technique on one wig while you follow along and replicate the process on a second wig. This allows you to see each stage of the process before applying it yourself and gives you significantly more hands-on practice.

The additional cost reflects the increased amount of hair, colour and products required.

ADDITIONAL TECHNIQUE

One colouring technique is included within your training day.

If you would like to learn an additional technique during your training, this can be added for £500.

IMPORTANT HAIR REQUIREMENTS

For the training day to run smoothly and for you to achieve the best possible results, you are required to:

• Patch test the hair before your class.
• Send an image of the hair’s lift 48 hours before your training day.
• Provide suitable raw, unprocessed hair for your training.

Please note that failure to provide suitable raw hair may affect the results achievable during your class and may prevent the intended training goals from being completed.

If you are unsure whether your hair is genuinely raw hair, The Colour Plug can provide a wig for your training at a significantly reduced rate.

PRODUCTS INCLUDED

All products used during your training session will be provided for you to take home, allowing you to continue practising and developing your skills after your masterclass.

Please bring an additional bag with you to transport your products home.

This is an opportunity to learn The Colour Plug way — from preparation and product selection to lifting, formulation, application and toning.

You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of wig colouring, practical hands-on experience and techniques you can continue to develop within your own business.
